STEM Outreach Program
Bringing the field trip experience to classrooms
Schools lack hands-on engineering modules that are connected to scientific themes. Ocean and Robotics, Inc. recognizes the need for providing materials and guidance to bring science and technology to life in our public schools. Our K – 6 grade STEM program blends formal classroom instructional activities with hands-on skill development in a team-based setting. Our modules are designed to be carried out by teachers and rooted in the new national curriculum standards. Our proposed “Field Trip Brought to You” program is designed to provide 50 minutes a day of hands-on activities for a week to the K – 6th grade classrooms with no cost to parents or schools.

Designed to transcend boundaries and revolutionize the way we bring exploration of the underwater world to classrooms, this cutting-edge ROV is set to take educational outreach to unprecedented heights.
Our iROV offers a hands-on exploration experience like never before. This impressive device has been meticulously crafted to eliminate lag times in image transmission and enhance real-time interactions, ensuring that educators and students can engage with the underwater environment without interruptions.
Collaboration lies at the heart of this project, as Kyle is now joined by a team of enthusiastic summer interns, each contributing their unique expertise to optimize and refine the ROV’s capabilities. Together, they share a collective vision: to empower students and educators worldwide with a powerful tool for interactive, educational exploration.
Launching at the harbor wall in Monterey, this Internet ROV transcends geographical boundaries. It can be driven from anywhere with an internet connection. This means that classrooms from every corner of the globe can now take part in exploring the community that makes the wharf their home. This experience not only nurtures a deep understanding of marine science but also fosters a sense of connection and responsibility for our planet’s fragile aquatic ecosystems.
