WE WANT TO DO MORE!

Our goal is to create a sustainable, nationwide program that sparks excitement for learning and helps young people, especially those who might not otherwise experience these types of activities to see themselves in the roles of explorers, scientists, and engineers.

OCEANS AND ROBOTICS

Bring camps to new locations

We would like to bring Seafloor Science & ROV camps to low income school districts at very affordable tuition rates.

Development of an upper level camp to inspire and open doors for high school students

Our new Level III camp will involve deployment of a mooring for data collection in the field, utilization of your junction-box ROVs for subsurface investigations, mapping with autonomous boats, and use of a CTD.

STEM Outreach Program

Bringing the field trip experience to classrooms

Schools lack hands-on engineering modules that are connected to scientific themes. Ocean and Robotics, Inc. recognizes the need for providing materials and guidance to bring science and technology to life in our public schools. Our K – 6 grade STEM program blends formal classroom instructional activities with hands-on skill development in a team-based setting. Our modules are designed to be carried out by teachers and rooted in the new national curriculum standards. Our proposed “Field Trip Brought to You” program is designed to provide 50 minutes a day of hands-on activities for a week to theĀ  K – 6th grade classrooms with no cost to parents or schools.
